Our Story
Growing Bright Young Minds
At Lower Providence Presbyterian Preschool, we believe in fostering a love of learning from a young age. Our curriculum is designed to encourage children to think and experiment - all while having fun! Since our founding, in 1960, we have been committed to supporting kids through all transitions in childhood and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

Lower Providence Presbyterian Church Preschool is looking for caring individuals to join our faith-based preschool for the 2024/2025 school year.
Lead Teacher Responsibilities: 4-year-old
The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of operating a preschool classroom for children aged 4. Key areas of responsibility include preparing lesson plans, setting up classroom, communicating with parents and overseeing classroom safety. Class days and times are Monday and Friday 9 to 2pm, Wednesday 11:30 to 2pm.
Requirements for Lead Teacher position: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood education, child development, special education or of the human services. Experience preferred. Must provide all necessary clearances. CPR certification required.
Assistant Teacher responsibilities: 4-year-old
The Assistant Teacher is responsible for assisting the Lead Teacher in the daily classroom activities for children aged 4-years-old. Key areas of responsibility include assisting in lesson planning, setting up the classroom, and overseeing classroom safety. Class days and times are Monday and Friday 9 to 2pm, Wednesday 11:30 to 2pm.
Requirements for Assistant Teacher position: A high school diploma. Experience preferred working with preschool age children.
Must provide all necessary clearances. CPR certification required.
